One time I took my girls to a Magic Kingdom

Once upon a time, I was a soldier stationed in Afghanistan and I was missing my family. Before returning home, I began to plan a trip for the family. I did a little bit of research and decided to take the family to the most magical place on earth, Disney World. Research entailed setting a reasonable budget and finding out costs regarding lodging, theme park tickets, parking, food, and all the other incidentals. The family was living in North Carolina at the time, so I needed to consider the best mode of transportation. To cut costs, I decided that driving down would be the better option. As the plan finally came to fruition, I decided to stay at a resort with a full kitchen using our timeshare. This allowed us the option to cut costs on food by preparing our meals. Also, I took advantage of the 4-Day Military Promotional park hopper tickets using the military discount. Now that all the planning was finalized, the family was prepared to take an amazing trip Magic Kingdom was colorful, entertaining, and it fulfilled so many childhood dreams. Once we hopped off of the Magic Kingdom Ferryboat we realized that at every corner, something is exciting to see. Our family visited in February, so the weather was perfect. I had a strategy in making sure that we covered as much of the park as possible. With the map in hand, we set our sites on anything and everything the park offers. There was something for everyone of all ages from rides, train rides to meeting our favorite Disney characters. We checked out Adventureland, Tomorrowland and more. There was an exorbitant amount of walking so we did need to take multiple breaks. The children didn't complain much because they were stoked. The best part of Magic Kingdom is the Cinderella Castle which has been famously based on the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany. Once we covered the entire park, we headed back to the Cinderella Castle to see the parade and it was epic. All the characters coming together on decorated floats with the music playing brought about so much joy for all of us. We were all singing along and waving at the Disney characters. After the parade we enjoyed the light show at Cinderella Castle. The kids couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had at the Magic Kingdom. There is nothing more important than seeing your family happy. I enjoyed the quality time spent together and all that Magic Kingdom offers.
